Origin
The superficial dorsal veins of clitoris originate under the clitoral fascia.
Course
The superficial dorsal veins cross the base of the suspensory ligament of the clitoris (Di Marino and Lepidi, 2014). It travels laterally from its origin to the medial thigh where it drains into the superficial external pudendal or long saphenous vein (Dorland, 2011).
Tributaries
The superficial dorsal veins of the clitoris are small venous tributaries from the glans and body of the clitoris (Di Marino and Lepidi, 2014).
Structures Drained
The superficial dorsal veins drain the clitoris and clitoral hood.
