Anatomical Relations

Condensation of fibrous tissue within the endopelvic fascia that attaches from the posterolateral pelvic wall to the rectum. These ligaments provide passage of the middle rectal vessels from the internal iliac vessels located along the posterior pelvic wall and portions of the inferior hypogastric plexus (Standring, 2016).
