Description
The presacral (Waldeyer’s) fascia lines the anterior surface of the sacrum and continues anteriorly along muscles of the pelvic cavity as a portion of the parietal pelvic fascia. The presacral fascia terminates inferiorly near the anorectal junction, where the fascia fuses with the mesorectal fascia (Standring, 2016).
