Anatomical Relations
The pubocervical ligament attaches from the inferior portion of the pubic bone, passes along and part of the fascia blends with the bladder before terminating near the cervix and upper vagina (Standring, 2016).

This small fascia acts like a supportive "hammock" for the bladder and prevents the bladder from herniating into the anterior wall of the vagina.
