Anatomical Relations

The uterosacral ligaments are condensations of the endopelvic fascia that span from the sacrum (posteriorly) to the cervix and body of the uterus (anteriorly). They form the lateral boundary of the rectouterine pouch (of Douglas) (Standring, 2016).
