Description

The vesicocervical ligament is a thickened portion of endopelvic fascia that is also referred to as the Vesicocervical pillar. This condensation of connective tissue attached the posterolateral surface of the bladder to the cervix. This ligament also blends with a portion of the anteromedial aspect of the cardinal ligaments near the connection to the cervix (Baggish and Karram, 2011).
