Origin

The superior marginal arterial arcade is one of two arterial arcades formed in the upper eyelid by the anastomosis of the superior lateral and medial arteries.

Course

The superior marginal arterial arcade extends the length of the upper eyelid, sitting just above (2 mm) the margin of the eyelid (Yanoff & Duker, 2013).
