Structure/Morphology

The mantle zone, part of the secondary lymphoid nodule, surrounds the central germinal center. It contains small mature B lymphocytes, or B-cells, that are displaced from the germinal center by the proliferating and differentiating B-cell precursors in the germinal center (Standring, 2016).
