Description: (Location & Drainage)
The anterior pancreaticoduodenal nodes are located between the head of the pancreas and the anterior surface of the duodenum. It consists of three to six nodes which receive afferents from the head of the pancreas, duodenum, and stomach.
The efferent vessels of the anterior pancreaticoduodenal nodes connect with the hepatic and central superior mesenteric nodes (Földi et al., 2012).
