Direction of Flow: Cervical subtrapezoid nodes > Supraclavicular nodes > jugular trunk > thoracic duct (left) or right lymphatic duct.
Description: (Location & Drainage)
The deep posterior scapular nodes are found within the supraspinous of the scapula, deep to the supraspinatus muscle and adjacent to the suprascapular artery. Their afferent vessels collect lymph from the supraspinatus and infraspinatus muscles. Their efferent vessels connect to the cervical subtrapezoid nodes (Földi et al., 2012).
