Description:

Description: (Location & Drainage)

The juxtaintestinal mesenteric nodes accompany the arterial arcades that are found adjacent to the small intestine within the mesentery. These are the most peripheral of the superior mesenteric lymph nodes. They receive afferent lymph vessels from the entire small intestine and send efferents to the central superior mesenteric nodes (Földi et al., 2012).
