Description:

Description: (Location & Drainage)

The left gastroomental nodes are found adjacent to the left gastroomental artery. These nodes form a chain, ranging from four to eight nodes, that extends from the middle of the greater curvature of the stomach up to the fundus. Their afferent vessels drain the upper aspect of the stomach and greater omentum (Földi et al., 2012).

The efferent vessels of the left gastroomental nodes drain to the superior pancreatic and splenic nodes (Földi et al., 2012).
