Description:

Description: (Location & Drainage)

The middle colic nodes accompany the middle colic artery and its branches. They consist of two or three nodes which receive lymph from the proximal two thirds of the transverse colon. The efferent vessels of the middle colic nodes send lymph to the central superior mesenteric nodes (Földi et al., 2012).
