Description: (Location & Drainage)
The posterior group of superior diaphragmatic lymph nodes are found behind the crura of the respiratory diaphragm, just anterior to the vertebral column. These nodes receive afferent vessels from the posterior part of the respiratory diaphragm and the diaphragmatic pleura. Their efferents drain to the posterior mediastinal lymph nodes, namely the juxtaaortic lymph nodes.
