Location: Along the medial margin of the scapula.
Drainage: Ascending and transverse parts of trapezius muscle and rhomboid muscles.

Description: (Location & Drainage)
The posterior scapular nodes form a long chain along the medial border of the scapula. Their afferent vessels collect lymph from the ascending and transverse parts of the trapezius muscle, as well as from the rhomboid major and minor muscles. Their efferent vessels connect to the supraclavicular nodes (Földi et al., 2012).
