The prevertebral lymph nodes are found along the anterior and lateral aspects of the vertebral bodies. They are more commonly associated with the eighth to twelfth thoracic vertebrae. The nodes are found intercalated with the intercostal lymph nodes, thus, draining into the thoracic duct.
