The superior pancreatic nodes are located along the superior margin of the pancreas. There are three or four nodes in this group which accompany the splenic artery. These nodes receive lymph from the pancreas.
The efferent vessels of the superior pancreatic nodes terminate in the intestinal trunk and lateral aortic nodes (Földi et al., 2012).
