The inferior diaphragmatic nodes receive afferent vessels from the diaphragm, diaphragmatic pleura, diaphragmatic peritoneum, and abdominal esophagus, while their efferent vessels drain into the abdominal part of the thoracic duct and the uppermost lumbar nodes (Földi et al., 2012).
