Description
The paravaginal lymph vessels are located around the vagina. The most superior vessels of this group accompany the uterine artery and their efferents drain to the internal and external iliac nodes. Intermediate vessels accompany the vaginal artery and drain to the internal iliac nodes. The lowest vessels drain lymph from the vulva and perineal skin, which pass to the superficial inguinal lymph nodes.
