Description:

Description: (Location & Drainage)

The splenic nodes are located at the hilum of the spleen. Their afferent vessels arise from within the white pulp of the spleen, which forms a subcapsular plexus that drains into the splenic nodes.

The efferent vessels of the splenic nodes terminate in the intestinal trunk and lateral aortic nodes (Földi et al., 2012).
