The subcallosal area (aka subcallosal gyrus, or parolfactory area of Broca) is a small triangular region of the cerebral cortex on the medial surface of the hemisphere in front of the paraterminal gyrus.

Subcallosal Gyrus
It consists of the subcallosal, cingulate and parahippocampal gyri as well as the hippocampal formation, collectively forming a cortical perimeter around the corpus callosum.
