Origin

The external nasal branches of the infraorbital nerve are branches of the nasal branch of the infraorbital nerve and originate just distal to the infraorbital foramen. Their sensory fibers have cell bodies located in the trigeminal ganglion.

Course

The external nasal branches of the infraorbital nerve run medially to the lateral surface of the nose.
