Related parts of the anatomy
Origin
The inferior lateral brachial cutaneous nerve arises from the radial nerve and contains sensory nerve fibers from the C5—C6 spinal segments.
Course
The inferior lateral brachial cutaneous nerve arises from the radial nerve as it descends inside the spiral radial groove against the bony humerus, between the lateral and medial heads of triceps muscle.
Branches
The sensory nerve fibers from the inferior lateral brachial cutaneous nerve eventually end up relaying sensory cutaneous information to the C5 and C6 cervical segments of the spinal cord.
Supplied Structures
The inferior lateral brachial cutaneous nerve provides cutaneous sensory innervation to the lower half of the lateral side of the arm
