Origin

The posterior labial nerve is the largest sensory branch of the perineal nerve, which in turn is a branch of the pudendal nerve. The analogous structure in males is the posterior scrotal nerve.

Course

The posterior labial nerve pierces the urogenital diaphragm to enter the superficial perineal pouch. It then runs anteromedially from the lateral border of the urogenital triangle (along with the posterior labial artery and vein) and innervates the skin of the posterior part of the labium majus.

Branches

There are no named branches.

Supplied Structures

Sensory to the skin of the posterior part of labium majus.
