Structure

The anterior basal segmental bronchus (B8) arises from the anteromedial basal segmental bronchus of the inferior lobar bronchus. It descends anterolaterally and provides an airway to the anterior basal bronchopulmonary segment (S8) of the inferior lobe of the left lung.
