Structure

The anterior segmental bronchus (B3) is one of two segmental bronchi that arise from the superior division bronchus. The other branch is the apicoposterior segmental bronchus. The anterior segmental bronchus passes anteriorly to provide an airway to the anterior (S3) bronchopulmonary segment of the superior lobe of the left lung.
