Bronchi lobi superioris pulmonis sinistri
Read moreDescription
The left superior lobar bronchus provides an airway for the entire superior lobe of the left lung. It arises as a branch of the left main bronchus and passes anterolaterally to enter the hilum of the left lung, and consequently, the superior lobe of the left lung. The left superior lobar bronchus divides into superior and inferior divisions, both of which supply the superior lobe of the left lung. The superior division supplies most of the superior lobe, while the inferior division, the lingular bronchus, supplies the lingula of the left lung.
