Structure

The medial basal segmental bronchus (B8) arises from the anteromedial basal segmental bronchus of the inferior lobar bronchus. It descends anteromedially and provides an airway to the medial basal bronchopulmonary segment (S7) of the inferior lobe of the left lung.
