Structure

The medial segmental bronchus (B5) is one of two segmental bronchi that arise from the middle lobar bronchus, the other being the lateral segmental bronchus. It passes anteromedially to provide an airway to the medial bronchopulmonary segment (S5) of the middle lobe of the right lung.
