Structure

The right superior lobar bronchus arises as a branch of the right main bronchus. It passes superolaterally to enter the hilum of the right lung, and consequently, the superior lobe of the right lung. The right superior lobar bronchus divides into three segmental bronchi, including the apical, anterior, and posterior segmental bronchi, thus, providing each bronchopulmonary segment of the superior lobe of the right lung with an airway.
