Description

The anterolateral surface of humerus is the area on the anterolateral aspect of the body of the humerus.

It is one of the three surfaces of the body of the humerus, the other two being the anteromedial and posterior surfaces. It is an area that is bounded:

—medially, by the anterior border of humerus;

—posterolaterally, by both the lateral border and lateral supracondylar ridge of humerus.

The anterolateral surface of humerus contains the deltoid tuberosity and provides an origin site for the brachialis muscle.
