Description

The anteromedial surface of humerus is the area on the anteromedial aspect of the body of the humerus.

It is one of the three surfaces of the body of the humerus, the other two being the anterolateral and posterior surfaces. It is an area that is bounded:

—laterally, by the anterior border of humerus;

—posteromedially, by both the medial border and medial supracondylar ridge of humerus.

Its superior end is continuous with the intertubercular sulcus.

The anteromedial surface of humerus contains the nutrient foramen. It also provides an origin site for the brachialis muscle, and an insertion site for the coracobrachialis muscle.
