Description
The articular area of the capitate bone consists of the proximal, distal, medial, and lateral aspects of the bone that articulate with adjacent bones. It includes the scaphoid, lunate, and hamate articular facets, and the second, third, and fourth metacarpal articular facets of capitate bone.
