Description

The articular area of intermediate (middle or second) cuneiform bone consists of the proximal, distal, medial and lateral aspects of the bone that articulate with adjacent bones. It includes the:

- proximal and distal articular surfaces of intermediate cuneiform bone;

- medial and lateral cuneiform articular facets of intermediate cuneiform bone.
