Description

The articular facet of lateral malleolus is the flat, triangular area found along the medial aspect of the lateral malleolus of the fibula. It’s located anterior to the malleolar fossa of the fibula and articulates with the lateral malleolar facet of the talus, contributing to the formation of the ankle joint.
