Description

The body (shaft) of fibula is the long, tubular part of the bone. It is located between the neck and lateral malleolus of the fibula, is triangular in cross-section, and consists of:

- three surfaces (medial, lateral and posterior);

- three borders (anterior, posterior and interosseous).
