The distal articular surface (anterior surface) of navicular is the convex, anterior area of the bone. It’s one of the six surfaces of the navicular bone, the other five being the plantar, dorsal, medial and lateral surfaces, and the proximal articular surface.
The distal articular surface of navicular bone contains the medial, intermediate and lateral cuneiform articular facets.
