Description

The dorsal radial tubercle (Lister’s tubercle) is the palpable, small prominence on the posterior aspect of the distal part of radius. It is found between the grooves for extensor muscle tendons.

It provides attachment sites for the extensor retinaculum of hand and the dorsal radiocarpal ligament.
