Description
The dorsal surface is the rough, non-articular, posterior aspect of the trapezoid bone. It provides attachment sites for the:
—trapeziocapitate interosseous ligament;
—trapeziotrapezoidal interosseous ligament;
—dorsal carpometacarpal ligaments;
—dorsal intercarpal ligament.
