The dorsal surface is the non-articular posterior aspect of the triquetrum bone. It provides attachment sites for the:
—ulnar collateral ligament of wrist joint;
—dorsal ulnocarpal ligament;
—dorsal radiocarpal ligament;
—dorsal intercarpal ligament.
