Description

The fifth metatarsal articular facet is the triangular, laterally located area found on the distal articular surface of the cuboid bone. It is one of the two facets found on the distal articular surface of the cuboid bone, the other being the fourth metatarsal articular facet.

The fifth metatarsal articular facet articulates with the proximal articular facet of the fifth metatarsal bone, contributing to the formation of the tarsometatarsal joints.
