Description

The fourth metatarsal articular facet is the quadrilateral, medially located area found on the distal articular surface of the cuboid bone. It is one of the two facets found on the distal articular surface of the cuboid bone, the other being the fifth metatarsal articular facet.

The fourth metatarsal articular facet articulates with the proximal articular facet of the fourth metatarsal bone, contributing to the formation of the tarsometatarsal joints.
