Description

The hamate articular facet is the concave, centrally located ridge found on the distal surface of the lunate bone. It is one of the three facets found on the distal surface of the lunate bone, the other two being the triquetrum and capitate articular facets.

The hamate articular facet articulates with the lunate articular facet of the hamate bone, forming the lunohamate joint.
