Description
The head of fourth metatarsal bone is the expanded, rounded, distal end of the bone. It is the distal continuation of its body, contains a distal articular facet, and provides attachment sites for the collateral, accessory collateral and plantar ligaments of the fourth metatarsophalangeal joint.
