Description

The head of ulna is the round, expanded portion on the distal part of the bone. It contains two articular areas:

—the articular circumference of head of ulna, which articulates with the ulnar notch of the radius, forming the distal radioulnar joint;

—the articular facet of head of ulna, which attaches to the articular disc of the distal radioulnar joint.
