The inferior border is the posteroinferiorly located margin on the superior pubic ramus. It is one of the three borders of the superior pubic ramus, the other two being the obturator crest and pecten pubis, and it separates the obturator and pelvic surfaces of the superior pubic ramus. It forms the superior margin of the obturator foramen and it consists of part of the obturator groove, which also travels along the pelvic surface of superior pubic ramus.
The inferior border of superior pubic ramus provides an attachment site for the obturator membrane.
