Description

The inferior surface of clavicle is the rough area on the lower aspect of the bone. It is one of the two surfaces of the clavicle, the other being the superior surface. It is an area that is bounded:

—anteriorly, by the anterior border of clavicle;

—posteriorly, by the posterior border of clavicle.

The inferior surface of clavicle contains the conoid tubercle, trapezoid line, impression for the costoclavicular ligament, subclavian groove, and a nutrient foramen.
