Description

The lateral angle of scapula (glenoid process or external angle of scapula) is the thick, truncated area of the bone where its lateral and superior borders meet. It is one of the three angles of the scapula, the other two being the superior and inferior angles.

The lateral angle of scapula contains the head and neck of the scapula.
