Description

The medial border of tibia is the margin found along the posteromedial aspect of the bone. It is one of the three borders of the tibia, the other two being the anterior and interosseous (lateral) borders, and it separates the medial and posterior surfaces of the tibia.

The medial border extends inferiorly from the medial aspect of the medial condyle of tibia to the posterior aspect of the medial malleolus. It provides attachment sites for the crural fascia and the tibial collateral ligament.
