Description

The medial surface is the rough, convex area on the medial aspect of the of medial cuneiform bone. It is one of the six surfaces of the medial cuneiform bone, the other five being the plantar, dorsal and lateral surfaces, and the proximal and distal articular surfaces.

The medial surface provides an insertion site for the tibialis anterior muscle.
